The Chief NAV1 is a Navitar lens support that adapts a Navitar ScreenStar conversion lens to a Chief RPA projector mount. It gives integrators a stable way to carry the weight and alignment of an add-on conversion lens on a ceiling-mounted projector. The support fits the Navitar SSW08 and SST120 conversion lenses and works with any RPA projector mount. It is intended for commercial projection in conference rooms, training rooms, and auditoriums.
Product Description
The NAV1 is designed to quickly adapt the Navitar ScreenStar conversion lens (SSW08 and SST120) to any Chief RPA projector mount. A conversion lens adds length and weight to the front of a projector, and this support provides the bracketing needed to carry it securely while keeping the optical path aligned. The support offers maximum adjustment to accommodate different projector sizes and lens placement, so integrators can dial in the geometry for a specific room. Note that lenses shorter than 2" produce images larger than the mirror can accommodate, which should be checked during planning. It is a reliable accessory for conference room, training room, and auditorium projection installations built on RPA mounts.
