The FMSCA floating column box provides support between two height-adjust boxes for longer extrusions in a ceiling-mounted menu-board system. When an extrusion run spans several displays, a single pair of end supports can allow the middle to sag or flex; the FMSCA adds a mid-span support point to keep the run straight and level. This is particularly useful for long quick-service restaurant menu boards and ceiling-hung digital signage rows. The floating column integrates with Chief's menu-board height-adjust boxes and extrusions to form a complete ceiling structure.
