The HC1 is a heavy-duty cable system that provides added security to projector installations. It uses a combination of adhesive security pads and the Chief SA1 Security Anchor to create a strong tether point, then runs a vinyl-coated cable that is locked with the included 40 mm padlock to secure the equipment. The complete kit includes the security anchor, the vinyl-coated cable, a 40 mm padlock, two security pads with rotating cable fasteners, and a tube of instant adhesive for bonding the pads in place. The rotating cable fasteners help route the cable cleanly while maintaining a secure hold. By tethering the projector to the mounting structure, the HC1 deters opportunistic theft of valuable AV equipment in public-facing and high-traffic spaces.
