Supporting HDMI, USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode), Mini DisplayPort, and VGA + audio inputs, this unit converts all source types to a single HDMI output with automatic or manual input switching — eliminating the need for separate adapter dongles and a manual switch.
Product Description
The CG40850 accepts inputs from HDMI, USB-C (video), Mini DisplayPort, and VGA+audio sources and switches between them to output a single HDMI signal to the connected display or projector. Auto-switching selects the active source automatically when a device is connected; manual switching allows the user to select the source. This converter switch is well-suited for the front-of-room AV connection point in classrooms and conference rooms with mixed laptop environments.
