Product Overview
The Biamp Tesira SERVER-IO AVB is a rack-mount configurable I/O digital signal processor for large-scale, networked commercial AV systems. Factory configured with one DSP-2 card and expandable with additional DSP and audio-networking cards, it serves as the central processing engine for enterprise audio across boardrooms, auditoriums, and multi-building campuses. It supports AVB, optional Dante and CobraNet networking, and a wide range of Tesira expanders for a highly scalable rack-mount DSP platform.
Product Description
The Tesira SERVER-IO AVB is a digital network server that anchors a Tesira audio system. It ships with one DSP-2 card and accepts additional DSP-2 cards for expanded processing, plus up to three audio-networking cards in any combination of AVB-1 (AVB), SCM-1 (CobraNet), and DAN-1 (Dante).
The platform supports up to 12 standard Tesira I/O cards for as many as 48 channels of analog audio I/O — mic/line level, VoIP, and FXO telephone interfaces — and up to 420 x 420 channels of digital I/O over AVB. Optional 32 x 32 CobraNet and 64 x 64 Dante networking let the server bridge into existing audio networks.
Configuration and control are handled through intuitive Tesira software over Ethernet or serial, with a front-panel OLED for device and system status. SpeechSense™ and AmbientSense™ algorithms handle conferencing and ambient-aware processing, and the server can run standalone or with Tesira expanders to scale across a building or campus.
