Product Overview
The Biamp Tesira AMP-450P is an AVB/TSN-enabled, four-channel PoE+ conferencing amplifier for use with the Desono C-IC6 ceiling speaker. Capable of mounting directly to the back of the speaker, it greatly reduces cost by minimizing cabling between the ceiling devices and the rack room. This makes it a strong fit as a conferencing amplifier, a PoE+ ceiling speaker amplifier, and a microphone-to-speaker Tesira endpoint.
Product Description
Tightly integrated with Biamp's other Tesira conferencing products, the AMP-450P helps form an end-to-end microphone-to-speaker solution using standard CAT cables, producing a conferencing system that is fast to deploy with a superior audio experience. It is powered by PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Class 4, 30W) and uses Class D topology with fanless operation. Each unit comes with an optional mechanical enclosure to protect electrical connections and comply with code requirements for above-ceiling installations. It is capable of operating in a burst mode that handles peak signals, supporting up to 50 watts (4 ohm) or 30 watts (8 ohm) per channel. Four RJ-45 output jacks, an audible locate button, software-selectable power versus channel count, and an internal limiter are included. LED indicators report power/status and amplifier status. The amplifier is configurable via Tesira software, evaluated to UL 2043 for air handling spaces, and is CE marked, UL listed, and RoHS compliant.
