Product Overview
The Biamp Community TRC400 is a 400-watt line transformer used to step down the voltage and impedance of constant-voltage audio distribution lines to the level required by loudspeakers. It can also step up an amplifier's voltage for a distribution line. It has three output taps and accepts 70 V, 100 V, and 140 V inputs. Its output taps drive 8 ohm or 4 ohm loudspeakers.
Product Description
The TRC400 provides three output taps that allow individual loudspeakers to operate at the same or different power levels on a distribution line. Input taps support 70 V, 100 V, and 140 V systems, and output taps drive 4 ohm or 8 ohm loudspeakers. A high-permeability iron core provides high power handling at low frequencies. Four mounting tabs allow it to be bolted into back-boxes, enclosures, or loudspeaker mounting hardware, and stripped wire leads connect easily via terminal strips, soldering, or wire-nuts.
