The Community IP8-1152WR is a high-power 15-inch 2-way weather-resistant installation loudspeaker with a 90° x 40° dispersion pattern, built for outdoor sound reinforcement in houses of worship, auditoriums and multi-purpose venues. As part of the I Series Point Source 800 line it pairs high output with a rotatable waveguide for flexible coverage in permanent installs.
Product Description
This IP8-1152WR is part of Community's I Series Point Source 800 weather-resistant loudspeakers in a weather-resistant grey finish, providing acoustic performance, modular flexibility and elegant aesthetics for modern performance venues. FEA-optimized linear suspensions, high-flux neodymium motors and integral demodulation rings ensure precise control and very low distortion at high SPL levels. The custom long-excursion LF driver delivers deep bass response and a balanced mid-range, while the HF compression driver's non-metallic diaphragm provides natural, transparent sound. The rotatable 13-inch HF waveguide gives well-defined 90° x 40° coverage and a smooth off-axis response that enhances arrayability, and individually voiced crossovers let horn patterns be mixed throughout an installation. Factory-standard passive or optional biamp operating modes further expand performance.
