Product Overview
The Biamp Community AFC200 is a 200-watt 70V/100V line autoformer used to step down the voltage and impedance of constant-voltage audio distribution lines to the level required by loudspeakers.
Product Description
The AFC200 has four output taps that allow individual loudspeakers to be set to the same or different power levels on a distribution line, and an input tap for 70V or 100V systems. Its output taps are designed to drive nominal 4 or 8 ohm loudspeakers. A high-permeability iron core provides high power handling at low frequencies. Two mounting tabs allow it to be bolted into back-boxes, enclosures, loudspeaker enclosures, or mounting hardware, and the stripped wire leads connect easily via terminal strips, soldering, or wire-nuts. The autoformer can be used for voltage step-up or step-down.
