The Cambridge Qt® E-P-W-16-4 Active Emitter provides sound masking and clear reproduction of paging and music signals simultaneously. The new direct field emitter speaker offers a wider frequency range than previous models, all while being small and powerful. Once installed in a finished or open ceiling, it's virtually invisible. It also offers uniform direct field masking.

Uniform Direct Field Masking

Traditional sound masking systems often rely on bulky loudspeakers, similar in size to paint cans, to create sound that bounces off the ceiling and indirectly spreads throughout a room. In contrast, the Qt Active Emitter is compact and streamlined, using Cambridge Sound Management's unique patented direct field Quiet Technology to evenly distribute sound masking directly into the workspace.
