The RF Venue 2X1SPLIT is a passive RF splitter and combiner for wireless microphone and IEM antenna distribution systems. It allows two wireless receiver antenna inputs to share one antenna, or two IEM combiners to connect to a single CP antenna, reducing the number of individual antenna runs required in a multi-channel wireless audio setup.
Product Description
In multi-channel wireless audio systems, antenna management becomes increasingly complex as channel count grows. The 2X1SPLIT simplifies this by allowing a single antenna to serve two receiver antenna inputs, or by combining two diversity zones to feed a single downstream receiver. Common use cases include connecting two wireless mic receivers to a single diversity antenna pair (requiring one 2X1SPLIT per antenna path), combining a 4- or 8-channel IEM combiner output to a single CP antenna, or linking two coverage zones in a distributed wireless system. The 2X1SPLIT is a passive device requiring no power and uses standard BNC connectors for compatibility with all professional wireless audio equipment. Note that combining two receiver inputs onto one antenna will reduce the signal level available to each receiver — for long cable runs or marginal RF environments, an RF Venue ILAMP-ACT in-line amplifier may be needed upstream to compensate.
