What is the AUDAC XENO8/W 8" loudspeaker?
The AUDAC XENO8/W is an 8" 2-way full-range loudspeaker in a white finish, designed for fixed installations in modern bars, restaurants, retail stores and hospitality spaces. Its full-range design delivers 120 W continuous (AES) power and up to 110 dB maximum SPL without needing an additional bass cabinet. A zinc alloy revolving mounting bracket is included, so the speaker can be installed horizontally or vertically.
How does the AUDAC XENO8/W 8" loudspeaker work?
The XENO8 combines a 1" dome tweeter with an 8" mid/low-frequency woofer through a passive built-in crossover at 2.5 kHz, giving a 60 Hz – 18 kHz response (±3 dB) and true-to-nature reproduction of music and speech. Wide 120° x 120° coverage spreads sound evenly across seating areas and sales floors. The 8 Ω cabinet handles 120 W AES, 240 W program and 480 W peak power, and an integrated protection circuit prevents tweeter damage when an overload occurs. The enclosure is medium density fibreboard with a structured coating and a slim steel front grill, and the logo can be rotated for horizontal or vertical mounting. The included 2-way revolving bracket allows the cabinet to be angled up to 20°. Connections are made on the rear with a 4-pin Euro terminal block that provides input and link output. AUDAC ships the speaker with a safety cable. For flat-wall installs, add the WBP100 wall bracket plate. AUDAC set solutions pair two or four XENO8 cabinets with the SMA350, EPA502 or SCP230 amplifier. The same model is also available in black as the XENO8/B.

No. AUDAC specifies the XENO8 as an 8 Ω loudspeaker, so it is driven from a low-impedance amplifier output such as the SMA350, EPA502 or SCP230.
Is the XENO8 rated for outdoor use?
