What is the AUDAC TRM124/B 70/100V transformer module?
The AUDAC TRM124/B is a 70/100V line transformer module that converts the passive AUDAC VEXO110/B 10" loudspeaker for use on constant-voltage distributed systems. It replaces the cabinet's standard backplate with an aluminium backplate carrying a copper toroidal transformer. Power taps of 240 W and 120 W at 100V, or 240 W, 120 W and 60 W at 70V, let the high-performance VEXO110 join a distributed paging and music system.
How does the AUDAC TRM124/B 70/100V transformer module work?

The TRM series are optional 70/100V line transformers for the passive variants of AUDAC's VEXO loudspeakers. To install the TRM124, remove the VEXO110's standard low-impedance backplate and replace it with the TRM124 backplate, on which the transformer is integrated. Inside, a 2-pin connector links the transformer secondary to the loudspeaker at 8 Ω. Outside, an 8-pin terminal block connects to the 70V or 100V amplifier line. The primary taps present 20.83 Ω, 41.67 Ω or 83.33 Ω to the line, giving 240 W or 120 W at 100V, and 240 W, 120 W or 60 W at 70V. The transformer passes 50 Hz – 20 kHz within ±3 dB, keeping the VEXO110's full-range character on a distributed system. The module ships with an M8 x 80 mm mounting bolt and a set of metal, rubber, flat and spring washers. Choose the black version to match a black VEXO110, or the TRM124/W for the white cabinet. A 70/100V amplifier such as the AUDAC PMQ240 can drive the converted loudspeakers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which loudspeaker does the TRM124 fit?
It is designed for the passive AUDAC VEXO110. For the VEXO208 family, AUDAC offers the TRM012 and TRM024.
What power taps are available?
At 100V: 240 W and 120 W. At 70V: 240 W, 120 W and 60 W.
How is it installed?
Remove the VEXO110's standard backplate, connect the internal 2-pin lead, and fit the TRM124 backplate. The line connects to the 8-pin terminal block.
Can the VEXO110 still run at low impedance after installation?
The TRM124 replaces the standard low-impedance backplate, so the cabinet runs on the 70/100V line once it is fitted. Keep the original backplate if you may need low-impedance operation later.
Does it work with the active VEXO110A?
No. AUDAC states the TRM series is for the passive VEXO variants only.
What warranty does it carry?
AUDAC's product page for the TRM124 does not list warranty terms. Contact Creation Networks at (888) 230-3661 for current manufacturer warranty coverage before you order.
