Each of the MTX48's 4 zones picks its own source and volume, either from the front panel, from AUDAC wall panels over RS-485, from RS-232, over TCP/IP, or in the AUDAC Touch app. The two XLR mic inputs carry priority, so announcements duck the music automatically, and both offer 15 V phantom power. A priority mute contact ties into the fire alarm, and a 24 V DC input keeps the matrix running on emergency power. A front-panel pre-listen (PFL) speaker lets staff check any zone.
