How does the AUDAC BASO10/W 10" bass reflex subwoofer work?
The BASO10 loads a 10" high-performance ferrite woofer into a bass reflex enclosure tuned to 50 Hz, engineered to be as compact as possible while keeping output and sound quality. The woofer uses a four-layer wound 1.5" voice coil with an oversized ferrite magnet for a high force factor, and a low-loss suspension gives linear behavior and high efficiency. The result is a frequency response of 54 Hz – 1.2 kHz (±3 dB), extending down to 38 Hz at -10 dB. The cabinet is 0.59" (15 mm) plywood with a structured coating and an 18-gauge steel grill. Two Speakon-compatible connectors sit in a recessed connector dish, which allows linkthrough to other cabinets and lets the subwoofer sit close to a wall or in a corner. Three M6 holes on each side accept the MBK102 bass cabinet mounting set. AUDAC pairs the BASO10 with satellite loudspeakers and amplifiers such as the EPA104 with built-in crossover in its FESTA and SUBLI sets, or the SMQ350 in its FESTA6.3 and CONGRESS6.3 sets.
