What is the AUDAC ALTI4/W pendant speaker?
The AUDAC ALTI4/W is a 4" two-way coaxial pendant loudspeaker in white for open and high ceilings in restaurants, retail stores, offices and fitness spaces. It handles 30 W continuous (AES), spreads sound over a wide 165° pattern, and runs on 70V/100V distributed lines or a 16 Ω low-impedance amplifier output. A 3.5 m suspension cable with dual steel cores and Gripple hangers is included. It is also available in black as the ALTI4/B.
How does the AUDAC ALTI4/W pendant speaker work?
The ALTI4/W uses a 4" driver with a coaxially mounted 1" soft dome tweeter and a phase plug for consistent off-axis response, housed in a polypropylene enclosure with an aluminium grill. Its 165° conical coverage spreads sound evenly from a single suspension point, which helps cover open ceilings and large spaces with fewer speakers. A rotary selector switch behind the rear cover sets 24 W, 12 W, 6 W or 3 W at 70V, 24 W, 12 W or 6 W at 100V, or a 16 Ω bypass, and the setting can be changed after installation. Connections are made on a 4-pin Euro terminal block. The included 3.5 m (137.80 in) cable carries the audio conductors, steel suspension and safety wire in one jacket, with snap hooks at the speaker end and dual Gripple hangers at the ceiling. The SlideCap rear cover slides into place after installation to hide the connection and suspension, and a ceiling cable cover finishes the top. For taller ceilings, AUDAC offers the longer DSC70 (7 m) and DSC100 (10 m) connection cables. Where pendants are not practical, the ALTI4M surface mount version keeps the same look, and an ARCHI10 subwoofer adds low-frequency support.

Yes. The ALTI4M uses the same design with a swivel bracket for surface mounting.
Is it rated for outdoor use?
AUDAC does not list an IP rating for the ALTI4 pendant. For wet or outdoor areas, ask us about the ALTIxM surface mount series, such as the IP65-rated ALTI6M.
What warranty does it carry?
