The Atlas Sound SHS-CUST is a custom-printed trim ring and lens accessory for the SHS-6T2 Strategically Hidden Speaker, produced through the DesignLab UV printing process. It enables the SHS speaker to be virtually invisible in any ceiling by printing the grille and trim ring to match the surrounding ceiling material—tile patterns, wood grain, painted surfaces, or custom colors. The process is accurate, resistant to fading over time, and suitable for high-end commercial, corporate, hospitality, and residential applications where aesthetics are a priority. Lead time is required; the order initiates a custom color-matching workflow.

Product Description

The SHS-CUST is ordered to initiate the DesignLab custom print workflow at AtlasIED. Once the order is processed, AtlasIED ships a custom SHS Camera Target to the customer. The customer photographs the ceiling material using the Camera Target as a reference—ensuring accurate color calibration—and uploads the image per the provided photo guidelines. AtlasIED then produces seven sample lenses with slight color variations for customer selection. After the customer selects a color sample, a final mockup is shipped for approval. Upon final approval, the UV printer produces the required number of custom trim rings and lenses. The result is a speaker grille that is color-matched to the ceiling material with exceptional accuracy, achieving near-complete visual camouflage of the SHS-6T2 speaker. The UV printing process is durable and fade-resistant for long-term performance. Image files, color specifications (e.g., paint codes, Pantone references), or physical material samples can all serve as the basis for color matching. The SHS-CUST applies only to the SHS-6T2 speaker (sold separately). A 60-month warranty applies.
