What is the Atlas Sound IED1544ZOP?
The IED1544ZOP is a 4x4 Smart Zone Output Processor that provides the network audio routing and zone DSP functions of a DNA2404D integrated network amplifier, without the onboard amplification — for integrating line-level analog devices with a Dante-based GLOBALCOM system.
How does the Atlas Sound IED1544ZOP work?
The ZOP acts as a GCK endpoint, taking Dante network audio input and applying equalization, level control, and AtlasIED's patented AlwaysHEAR ambient analysis to automatically keep output at the right level. It provides four line-level balanced analog audio outputs for driving external amplifiers or powered line arrays, and can optionally route the processed zone audio back out over the network as Dante digital audio. Eight logic inputs support triggering GCK actions, four of them supervised for detecting shorted or broken wires, and up to eight IED0540S ambient noise sensors (two per channel) feed automatic level adjustment. Redundant PoE with optional 12/24/48VDC auxiliary power, LED status indicators, and a fault relay round out the reliability features.
