The 1100DAB Digital Audio Bridge provides ultra-low-latency, multi-channel audio bridging between GLOBALCOM controller systems, in a 1RU chassis with dual redundant Gigabit Ethernet links.
How does the Atlas Sound 1100DAB work?
Designed for adjacent audio zones, the 1100DAB ensures synchronous audio transport across CobraNet and Dante infrastructures, eliminating echo and timing delays between zones handled by separate GLOBALCOM controllers. It's configured through GCK and available in three models: the base 1100DAB bridges 8x8 CobraNet channels between two CobraNet controllers with millisecond-level latency; the 1100DAB CD bridges 8x8 channels between a CobraNet controller and a Dante controller for legacy-to-Dante migration; and the 1100DAB DD bridges 16x16 Dante channels between two Dante controllers with microsecond-scale latency.
