The Ashly KLR-LK2 is a set of two aluminum security locking knobs designed as drop-in replacements for the standard front-panel volume knobs on KLR series amplifiers. The KLR-LK2 prevents unauthorized adjustment of the KLR amplifier’s front-panel level controls in permanently installed commercial AV environments where the amplifier is accessible to non-technical personnel.
Product Description
The KLR-LK2 locking knobs are the OEM security accessory for KLR series amplifiers (KLR-2000, KLR-3200, KLR-4000, KLR-5000). When installed on a KLR amplifier in a permanently installed commercial AV system, the locking knobs prevent end users from adjusting the front-panel level controls, maintaining the system gain structure set during installation and commissioning. The set of two aluminum knobs replaces the standard knobs on both channels of a KLR amplifier. This is a simple, cost-effective way to protect the system calibration in installations where the KLR amplifier is rack-mounted in an accessible equipment space such as an AV closet without a locked door, or in open rack installations in public or semi-public spaces.
