Product Overview
The Ashly FX60.2 is a two-channel Class D power amplifier with integrated Protea DSP, delivering 60W per channel at 4 or 8 ohms in a half-rack chassis with built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity. The 4-input by 2-output DSP engine provides complete signal processing for commercial AV systems where compact form factor and low power consumption are priorities, including kiosk amplification, small conference rooms, hotel rooms, and retail display systems. Dynamic Power Sharing allows up to 120W on a single channel from the combined power budget, and bridge mode provides 120W at 70V or 100V for constant-voltage distributed speaker applications.
Product Description
The FX60.2 sits at the entry point of the FX series power range, delivering 60W per channel across two channels in one of the most compact amp/DSP packages in the Ashly commercial line. The half-rack form factor measures less than half the width of a standard 1RU rack unit, making the FX60.2 ideal for installations inside display kiosks, under furniture, behind video walls, and in any application where a full-rack amplifier is impractical. Optional rack-mount, wall-mount, and surface-mount brackets expand the installation options further.
The integrated Protea DSP handles four inputs routed through two outputs, with processing stages for input gain and sensitivity, zone mixing (source selection, mono/stereo, compressor, level metering), and output processing (delay up to 100ms, 10-band fully parametric EQ, crossover, polarity, limiter). Speaker presets can be saved and loaded per output, supporting the use of different speaker models on each zone and allowing FIR filter import for advanced loudspeaker optimization. The browser-based interface requires no software installation and works from any PC, tablet, or smartphone on any OS. The built-in Wi-Fi access point allows direct wireless configuration without a router; Ethernet supports wired LAN integration for permanent installation.
Balanced mic/line inputs on removable Euroblock connectors accept signal directly from microphone or line-level sources; RCA inputs accommodate program and streaming sources. SPDIF digital I/O supports digital source connectivity and digital bridging of two FX units. Addressable GPIO, standby/mute, and per-channel VC remote ports support wall remotes, control systems, and building automation. Auto/manual power saver mode reduces standby power consumption in commercial installations with low overnight usage. 5-year Ashly limited warranty included.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How does the FX60.2 compare to the FX125.2?
- The FX60.2 delivers 60W per channel versus 125W per channel on the FX125.2. Both share the same half-rack form factor, DSP engine (4-in x 2-out), Wi-Fi, and feature set. The FX60.2 is the right choice for lower-power zones such as background music in smaller rooms, kiosks, and hotel areas; the FX125.2 is better suited for higher-output requirements like conference rooms or mid-size ceiling speaker arrays.
- Can the FX60.2 power a 70V distributed speaker system?
- Yes. Bridging the two channels delivers a single 120W output at 70V or 100V for constant-voltage distributed speaker systems with transformer-tapped speakers.
- Does the FX60.2 include speaker crossover processing?
- Yes. Each output includes crossover, 10-band parametric EQ, delay, polarity, and a three-mode limiter. Per-output speaker presets can be saved to the onboard library and FIR filter files from major speaker manufacturers can be imported.
- How is the FX60.2 configured?
- Configuration is handled through a browser-based interface with no software installation required. The built-in Wi-Fi access point allows a laptop, tablet, or smartphone to connect directly and wirelessly. Ethernet provides wired LAN integration for permanent systems.
- What are the mounting options for the FX60.2?
- The FX60.2 can operate free-standing inside casework, behind displays, or under furniture. Optional Ashly accessory kits include FA1.2RM (rack-mount), FA2.2RM (rear rail support), and FATWB (flush wall/surface-mount bracket) for standard 19-inch rack or surface installation.
