AMX NMX-WP-N2510 – N2000 Series HD Windowing Processor (4×1)
Product Overview
The AMX NMX-WP-N2510 is a 1U rack-mount HD windowing processor for the N2000 Series AV-over-IP platform, combining up to four simultaneous video streams into a single composited 1080p or 1600×1200 output over a single network connection. Operating without physical video input or output connectors, it uses only an Ethernet port to receive N-Series video streams and distribute the composited output back to the network for display on one or more SVSI decoders. Stackable units extend capacity to 7×1, 10×1, and beyond.
Product Description
The NMX-WP-N2510 operates entirely over a standard IP network, accepting any four video streams from SVSI N-Series encoders as inputs and delivering a windowed HD output stream without requiring physical signal connections. Each input can be independently cropped, scaled, and positioned using stored presets — including quad, window-in-window, and 3+1 configurations — or any custom user-defined layout. The combined output stream is routed at up to 1080p60 or CG 1600×1200 to one or more displays via N-Series decoders on the same network. The single-port network architecture simplifies installation by eliminating traditional AV cabling, and multiple NMX-WP-N2510 units can be stacked to scale beyond four inputs (7×1, 10×1, 13×1, 16×1, or higher) for larger multiviewer or video wall applications.
Key Features
- 4-Input HD Windowing Processor: Combines up to four N-Series AV-over-IP streams into a single composited HD output with no physical video connectors required.
- Single Network Port Operation: All inputs and outputs travel over a single Ethernet connection, reducing installation complexity and rack space requirements.
- 1080p60 and CG 1600×1200 Output: Delivers the composited stream at full HD or CG resolution to connected N-Series decoders on the network.
- Preset-Based Window Management: Stored presets (quad, window-in-window, 3+1, and custom) enable instant switching between layout configurations.
- Stackable Architecture: Multiple units can be cascaded for 7×1, 10×1, 13×1, 16×1, or higher input capacity from a single display output.
- Access to All SVSI Streams: A single network connection provides access to all available SVSI video streams for window source selection.
- 1U Rack-Mount Form Factor: Compact 1RU appliance integrates cleanly into standard AV equipment racks.
- Gigabit Ethernet Interface: Auto-sensing 10/100/1000Base-T connection for standard IT network infrastructure.
Typical Applications
- Digital signage and multi-source content display in conference rooms and all-hands rooms
- Network operations centers (NOC) requiring multi-stream monitoring on a single display
- Command and control facilities combining multiple AV-over-IP feeds on a single screen
- Video wall systems using N2000 Series decoders as display endpoints
- Training rooms and auditoriums displaying multiple content sources simultaneously

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the NMX-WP-N2510 require any physical video cables for inputs or outputs?
No. The NMX-WP-N2510 operates entirely over a single Ethernet connection. All video inputs are received as N-Series network streams, and the composited output is delivered back over the network to N-Series decoders — no HDMI, DisplayPort, or other video cables are needed.
Can more than four inputs be displayed by using multiple NMX-WP-N2510 units?
Yes. Units can be stacked in series to scale beyond four inputs, supporting 7×1, 10×1, 13×1, 16×1, or higher input configurations, all delivered to a single display output.
Is the NMX-WP-N2510 compatible with N3000 Series encoders?
The NMX-WP-N2510 is designed for the N2000 Series platform. For N3000 Series H.264 AV-over-IP systems, the NMX-WP-N3510 is the appropriate windowing processor.
