Allen & Heath AH-QU-BRACKET – Qu Mixer Steel Tablet Bracket
What is the Allen & Heath QU-BRACKET tablet bracket?
The Allen & Heath QU-BRACKET is a steel tablet bracket that screws into the rear of a Qu-5, Qu-6 or Qu-7 series digital mixer. It holds an iOS or Android tablet running Qu MixPad next to the console, giving the operator a second touchscreen for extended control and visual feedback during live sound and AV events.
What does the Allen & Heath QU-BRACKET do?
The bracket attaches to the back of the Qu mixer and positions a tablet above the surface, so the engineer can see metering, routing or a second layer of channels without taking eyes off the desk. Because Qu MixPad runs on the same network as the mixer, the tablet can also be lifted off and carried into the room for walk-around EQ and monitor checks. For school auditoriums, worship spaces and rental rigs, it is a low-cost way to add screen real estate to a compact digital mixer. Allen & Heath lists it as QU-BRACKET/X on its Qu accessories page.
What are the key features of the Allen & Heath QU-BRACKET?
- Steel construction — Holds the tablet steady on the console.
- Rear-mount design — Screws into the back of Qu mixers with no clamps on the work surface.
- iOS and Android support — Holds a tablet running Qu MixPad.
- Extended control — Adds a second touchscreen for metering, routing and channel access.
