Product Overview
The Adder IPEPSMINI-HM is a standalone HDMI KVM-over-IP extender that gives IT and AV teams secure remote access to a single computer from anywhere on the network or over the internet. Built around RealVNC client software, this compact KVM over IP unit delivers BIOS-level remote server management with HDMI video up to 1920x1200 and true USB keyboard and mouse control. For organizations that need out-of-band access to critical machines, the ADDERLink ipeps mini HDMI provides enterprise-grade encrypted remote KVM access without installing software on the target computer.
Product Description
The ADDERLink ipeps mini HDMI connects directly to the HDMI and USB ports of the computer you need to manage, then makes that machine available to authorized users over a standard gigabit Ethernet network. Because the unit operates independently of the host, administrators retain full control during boot-up, BIOS configuration, and even crash states — a capability that software-based remote tools cannot match. Up to eight remote users can access the unit simultaneously, and administrators can create up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights.

Security is handled with AES 128 or 256-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication as standard, making the unit suitable for government, healthcare, and other regulated environments. The palm-sized ABS and aluminium housing measures just 55 x 25 x 110 mm and can be powered directly from two USB 2.0 ports on the host computer or from an optional 5VDC external supply, simplifying installation behind racks and inside lecterns. Intelligent EDID management lets installers specify exactly which video modes the controlled device generates, avoiding resolution mismatches in fixed AV installations.

The ipeps mini can also act as a remote gateway into ADDERLink INFINITY, DDX, and XDIP matrix systems as well as the ADDERView 4 PRO switch, extending remote VNC access to every computer behind those systems. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the IPEPSMINI-HM require software on the target computer?
No. It is a hardware KVM-over-IP unit that connects to the computer's HDMI and USB ports, so it works at BIOS level and is compatible with all known operating systems.
How do remote users connect to the unit?
Remote users connect with RealVNC client software over a 1GbE network connection, with sessions protected by AES 128/256-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit authentication.
Can it be powered without a separate power supply?
Yes. The unit can draw power from two USB 2.0 ports on the host computer (2x 500mA at 5V); an external 5VDC 1A supply is an alternative option.
Can the ipeps mini provide remote access to more than one computer?
Indirectly, yes. It can serve as a remote gateway into ADDERLink INFINITY, DDX, and XDIP matrix systems or an ADDERView 4 PRO switch, giving remote users access to any computer behind those systems.
