Product Overview
The Adder IPEPS-PLUS-US is a standalone KVM-over-IP unit that gives administrators secure remote access to a single computer or server from anywhere over the Internet or a corporate network. Built around RealVNC client software with enterprise-grade AES encryption, this remote server management gateway accepts HDMI video up to 1920x1200 and provides hardware-level control — working even when the controlled machine is at the BIOS, booting, or crashed. A local console port keeps an on-site KVM connection available for maintenance, making the AdderLink ipeps+ a complete out-of-band access solution in a compact metal chassis.
Product Description
Software remote-desktop tools fail exactly when you need them most: during boot, BIOS configuration, OS reinstalls, or crashes. Because the ipeps+ operates at the hardware level, independent of the controlled computer's state, remote users retain full keyboard, video, and mouse control in every scenario.

Security is enterprise grade as standard: AES 128 or 256-bit encryption with RSA 2048-bit public key authentication protects every session, further enhanced by VNC ciphered user communications. Administrators can create up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights, and up to eight remote users may access the unit simultaneously — a non-blocking approach to shared server management.

The local console connections (HDMI and USB) keep a crash cart or rack console live for on-site work, while virtual media support lets remote users transfer files in both directions with the controlled computer — invaluable for driver loads and patching. The ipeps+ can also serve as a remote gateway into ADDERLink INFINITY matrix systems and the AdderView 4 PRO switch, opening every connected computer to authorized off-site users. Multi-screen computers with up to four heads are supported using one ipeps+ and VNC Viewer per screen (requires Absolute Mouse Mode support in the OS). The unit ships with HDMI and USB cables and a 12V PSU, installs in minutes, and works with all known operating systems. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I access the BIOS of the connected computer remotely?
Yes. The ipeps+ operates at the hardware level, so remote users retain full control during boot, BIOS configuration, and even crash states — independent of the computer's operating system.
How many people can connect at once?
Up to eight remote users can access the unit simultaneously, governed by up to 16 user profiles with defined access rights.
Is the connection secure enough for enterprise use?
Yes. AES 128 or 256-bit encryption and RSA 2048-bit public key authentication are standard, with ciphered VNC user communications on top.
Can I still work at the rack locally?
Yes. The local console port provides HDMI and USB connections for on-site access during maintenance or emergencies.
Does it support DVI or DisplayPort sources?
The video input is HDMI. DVI-D sources connect via an HDMI/DVI-D cable such as the Adder VSCD11; ask Creation Networks about adapters for other interfaces.
Can one ipeps+ serve multiple computers?
Indirectly, yes — it can act as a remote gateway into an ADDERLink INFINITY matrix or an AdderView 4 PRO switch, giving remote users access to every connected computer.
How is file transfer handled?
The virtual media feature transfers files in both directions between remote users and the controlled computer, useful for patches, drivers, and log retrieval.
