Product Overview
The Sonance XXL IS Space Saver is a flat-packed, lightweight placeholder sized for the IS15 Invisible Series speaker, Sonance's largest in-ceiling model in the line. It is used on new-construction projects to reserve an accurate opening before the finished IS15 is installed.
Product Description
Because the IS15 is a large-format Sonance Invisible Series speaker, its rough-in opening needs to be protected through framing, insulation, and finish work well ahead of final installation. The XXL IS Space Saver eliminates the need to cut that opening twice by holding the correct size and location from the earliest construction phase. It ships flat-packed and lightweight, making it practical to move across a job site with multiple large rooms or open-concept spaces. As a reusable, recyclable unit, it can be pulled and reused on the next project instead of ending up as construction waste. When the room is ready for final trim, the installer removes the Space Saver and installs the finished IS15 in-ceiling speaker in the same prepared location.
