Product Overview
The Vaddio RoboSHOT 12E HDBT OneLINK HDMI System (White) delivers professional HD PTZ camera performance with a simplified single-cable extension infrastructure for small-to-medium conference rooms. The 12x optical zoom and 70.2° horizontal field of view make it well suited for standard boardrooms, training rooms, and video conferencing spaces. Paired with the OneLINK HDMI extension, a single Cat-5e/6 cable extends power, video, and control from the camera to the AV rack — up to 230 ft over Cat-5e or 328 ft over Cat-6. Simultaneous HDBaseT, HDMI, and IP H.264 streaming outputs give integrators flexibility across display and soft-codec infrastructure.
Product Description

The RoboSHOT 12E HDBT is Vaddio's workhorse PTZ camera for medium-sized rooms. Its 1/2.5-type Exmor R CMOS sensor delivers sharp, broadcast-quality HD video with 12x optical zoom — enough range to cover a typical boardroom or conference room from a wall or ceiling mount at the front of the room. The 70.2° horizontal field of view provides a natural-feeling wide coverage angle, keeping participants comfortably in frame during group video calls or recordings.
The OneLINK HDMI extension is one of Vaddio's most widely deployed infrastructure solutions. Rather than running separate power, video, and control cables between the camera and the AV rack, the OneLINK HDMI receiver reduces that to a single Cat-5e or Cat-6 cable — significantly simplifying installation in finished rooms where conduit access is limited. Power-over-HDBaseT means no separate power supply is needed at the camera, keeping the installation clean and maintenance simple.
Three simultaneous outputs — HDBaseT, HDMI, and IP H.264 — cover the most common distribution scenarios without requiring additional encoders. Local HDMI can feed a codec or capture device directly, while IP H.264 makes the camera available to soft clients, streaming platforms, and lecture capture systems on the same network. Remote IP management via the embedded web server supports full camera control, preset management, and firmware updates from any networked device.
This system is a complete kit: the RoboSHOT 12E HDBT camera and OneLINK HDMI extension are paired and tested as a unit, eliminating compatibility guesswork for integrators deploying it as part of a structured AV installation. See also other Vaddio RoboSHOT systems for larger rooms or different extension configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the OneLINK HDMI and OneLINK Bridge extension systems?
The OneLINK HDMI provides simultaneous HDMI and IP streaming outputs at the receiver end, making it the most common choice for rooms with a local HDMI display or codec. The OneLINK Bridge adds USB 3.0 output, enabling direct connection to a PC for soft-client video conferencing. Choose based on your codec or UC platform requirements.
How far can the camera be installed from the AV rack?
Up to 230 ft (70m) over Cat-5e, or up to 328 ft (100m) over Cat-6. A single cable carries power, HD video, and control between the camera and the OneLINK HDMI receiver.
Does the RoboSHOT 12E HDBT require a separate power supply?
No. Power is delivered to the camera over the HDBaseT cable from the OneLINK HDMI receiver in the AV rack. No separate power supply is needed at the camera location.
Can the camera be controlled remotely?
Yes. The embedded web server provides full camera control — including pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and preset recall — from any device connected to the same network.
What video conferencing platforms does this system work with?
The RoboSHOT 12E HDBT OneLINK HDMI System works with any codec or platform that accepts HDMI input. For direct USB connectivity to soft clients like Zoom, Teams, or Webex, pair the camera with a Vaddio OneLINK Bridge instead.
