Product Overview
CoCon Voting Control is a software module within the Televic CoCon Conference Control Suite that adds configurable electronic voting capability to a Plixus conference system running CoCon Discussion. It enables operators to run structured voting sessions with extensive configuration options—voting timers, voting modes, participant eligibility, and up to 10 voting options per vote on multimedia units—while monitoring and recording results in real time. CoCon Voting requires CoCon Discussion as a prerequisite. For rooms that require only voting without signage display, this module can be licensed independently; for rooms requiring both voting and signage, the CoCon Meeting Suite bundle (71.98.1150) provides a more cost-effective licensing path.
Product Description

CoCon Voting integrates with the CoCon Discussion base module to add electronic voting functionality to any Plixus formal meeting setup. Operators configure voting sessions from the CoCon operator interface: setting voting mode (open, secret, majority, etc.), defining which participants are eligible to vote, establishing a voting timer, and selecting the number of voting options (2–5 for standard units; up to 10 for multimedia units). Each voting option can be assigned a distinct color for visual clarity during the vote and in results display. Voting results are recorded in the CoCon database, building an auditable record of all votes taken during the session. For rooms using CoCon Signage, voting results display automatically on signage screens at the conclusion of each vote. CoCon Voting is designed for formal decision-making environments where vote integrity, configurability, and accurate record-keeping are required.
