Product Overview
The TASCAM AE-4D is a compact half-1U 4-channel AES/EBU input/output Dante converter with built-in DSP mixer, bridging AES/EBU digital audio to and from a Dante network at up to 96 kHz/24-bit. It is part of the TASCAM Dante Compact Processor Series and pairs with MM and ML series analog converters in commercial AV, broadcast, and installed audio systems.
Product Description
The AE-4D converts 4 channels of AES/EBU digital I/O to Dante network audio and vice versa, enabling AES/EBU-equipped consoles, processors, and devices to connect to a Dante audio network without analog conversion. The built-in DSP matrix mixer supports internal routing and mixing of 4-channel Dante I/O. Two AE-4D units mount side-by-side in the optional AK-RS1 1U rack shelf. Optional PS-P1220E AC adapter adds redundant power. Available at Creation Networks alongside the ML-16D, AK-RS1, and other Dante Compact Processor units.
