DSOS KIOSK mode configures a SpinetiX Intel-based player as a dedicated kiosk terminal, running a single web application or HTML5 experience full-screen without the overhead or security exposure of a general-purpose operating system. The 1-year annual term is the most flexible licensing option for kiosk deployments, appropriate for pilots, seasonal installations, managed service offerings, and organizations that prefer annual software subscription billing. At 600 MB, DSOS is a lean, purpose-built Linux OS designed for 24/7 operation on Intel-based SpinetiX hardware. KIOSK mode supports touch-enabled displays for interactive applications including wayfinding, self-check-in, product selection, and directory systems. Security features include UEFI Secure Boot, TPM/Intel TPP support, and cryptographically signed packages. The license renews annually and can be managed through Creation Networks.
