Product Overview
The Sony SRG-XP1 is a compact 4K 60p POV (point-of-view) remote camera with a wide-angle lens for unattended capture and streaming. Built around a 1/1.8-type Exmor R CMOS sensor, it covers over 102° horizontal field of view and outputs over HDMI, Ethernet, and USB 3.0, with single-cable PoE installation and IP control. At just 2.02 x 2.85 x 4.79 inches and 0.92 lb, it fits classrooms, meeting spaces, operating rooms, and e-sports venues as a primary or secondary camera. This is the white model.
Product Description
The SRG-XP1 is a fixed POV camera — not a pan/tilt unit — designed for discreet, unattended installation. Its 1/1.8-type Exmor R CMOS sensor captures 4K at 60p with good low-light sensitivity, and the wide-angle lens provides over 102° horizontal field of view (85° with distortion correction), enough to frame an entire presenter at close range or cover a full room from an awkward position. Streaming, power, and control travel over a single Ethernet cable (PoE), with RTSP and RTMP support and NDI|HX available via optional license; HDMI and USB 3.0 outputs add flexibility. A horizontal-bar tally light gives clear on-air indication to presenters and directors, and an audio input accepts an external microphone or line-level source. The compact body mounts on walls, ceilings, tripods (upper and lower mounts), and shelves, with rear-panel guards for durability.

The SRG-XP1's strengths are 4K 60p from a relatively large 1/1.8-type sensor, an unusually wide field of view, single-cable PoE/IP integration, and an audio input. As a fixed POV camera it does not pan or tilt; where mechanical PTZ is needed, Sony's SRG-A40 or BRC-series cameras are alternatives.
