The Sonance IPORT CONNECT PRO WallStation Black is an in-wall iPad mount built for AV and IT teams deploying iPad as a fixed room control, scheduling, or check-in panel. It provides a solid magnetic mount on any wall or solid surface and charges iPad through the CONNECT conductive interface. The WallStation accepts the CONNECT PRO modular platform and supports both supplied AC power and an optional PoE+ upgrade. Built on the modular CONNECT PRO platform, the WallStation Black gives integrators a clean, flush wall presence for iPad room control and scheduling. iPad attaches magnetically and charges at 5V 3A from the supplied power supply over a Cat 5 cable run, keeping power and data behind the wall. For sites that require a hardwired connection and centralized power, the WallStation upgrades to PoE+ data and power with the optional IPORT CONNECT PoE+ Network Adapter (72101, sold separately). The design works with any 1-gang box from around the world, including EU, UK, and US standards, which can be used as a space reservation during rough-in and as a containing box for the WallStation and electronics at finish. A supplied security tool deters casual removal, and the kit ships with drywall anchors and the cabling needed for installation. The black finish suits darker wall surfaces and control corridors.
