Description

Bring an added layer of safety to your hardwired speaker system with this Sonance fire-rated shallow backcan. The 1-hour rating meets a range of fire safety regulations for peace of mind, while the ceramic fiber installation and Snap2it wire clamps simplify the installation process. This Sonance fire-rated shallow backcan is designed for use with Sonance Visual Performance Series in-wall speakers for a secure fit. 

    Compatible with select Sonance rectangle in-wall speakers

    Including Sonance VISUAL PERFORMANCE: VP42, VP46, VP48, VP62, VP66, VP68, VP66 SUR/SST, VP66 TL, Sonance VISUAL EXPERIENCE: VX42, VX46, VX62, VX66, VX66 SST speaker models.
    Fire-rated backcan

    Provides one-hour rating in accordance with ASTM E814-06, ASTM E119, UL 263, NFPA 251, CN/ULC-S101 when installed as part of a gypsum board wall assembly with an appropriate Sonance flex bracket.
    Painted steel construction with ceramic fiber insulation

    Offers durability and long-lasting use.
    Snap2it wire clamps

    Deliver quick and easy installation.
