The ULXD8 desktop base transmitter accepts Shure Microflex gooseneck microphones, including the MX405, MX410, and MX415 as well as the MX410DF and MX415DF Dualflex models, fitting 5-inch, 10-inch, and 15-inch goosenecks. Because latency is very low, the transmitter is appropriate for applications where the talker's voice is reinforced live in the room, such as government meetings and houses of worship. Paired with a ULX-D or QLX-D digital receiver, it provides a long transmission range of up to 300 feet (100 meters) for dependable coverage in large rooms and auditoriums. It is compatible with the full line of Shure antennas and distribution components, and up to 200 ULXD8 transmitters can operate with a single pair of receiving antennas for large multi-position deployments. Optional SB900C rechargeable batteries provide up to 12 hours of run-time and can be charged in a networked docking station for fleet management.
