The QTAD10AL AquaMic Long Life uses a small, rugged aluminum casing that is fully submersible in water up to 10 m, capturing audio in pools, on-water events, and wet film sets across longer production sessions. A six-pin LEMO connector requires a matching waterproof microphone with a six-pin LEMO connector. The transmitter operates exclusively with Shure Axient Digital wireless receivers, providing advanced encryption and efficient spectrum use for demanding broadcast applications. Setup, management, and monitoring are coordinated through the Q5X MicCommander handheld remote control, which is required for operation and sold separately. This Long-Life version is supplied in the G56 frequency band and is suited to crews who need extended on-air time between charges.
