Product Overview
The Shure PGA48-QTR is a cardioid dynamic vocal microphone supplied with an XLR-to-quarter-inch (QTR) cable for direct connection to mixers and PA systems with 1/4 in. inputs. Its cardioid pattern captures the talker while rejecting off-axis noise, and an on/off switch gives presenters local control. For AV and live-sound setups that connect to a 1/4 in. input, this handheld dynamic vocal microphone is ready to use out of the box.
Product Description
The PGA48 delivers tailored sound for speech and vocals across a 70 to 15,000 Hz frequency response. The cardioid polar pattern improves gain-before-feedback and isolates the source in conference rooms, training spaces, and multi-purpose rooms. The included XLR-to-1/4 in. cable connects directly to portable mixers, keyboard amps, and PA inputs that use a quarter-inch jack. A discrete on/off switch lets presenters mute locally without reaching the mixer, and a swivel stand adapter and zipper pouch are included. For a balanced XLR connection, choose the PGA48-XLR, or specify your own cable with the PGA48-LC.
