The MX415RLP/S pairs a 15-inch gooseneck with an interchangeable supercardioid condenser cartridge, a top light ring, and a low-profile body. The narrow supercardioid pattern delivers strong off-axis rejection for rooms with nearby loudspeakers or multiple open microphones. Because it ships without a preamp, it connects through a 6-pin modular connector to a Microflex surface-mount preamp (MX400SMP), desktop base (MX400DP), or a Microflex Complete or Complete Wireless system. The light ring signals microphone status to the room, Shure Commshield RF filtering blocks mobile-device interference, and the balanced output preserves signal quality over long cable runs.
