Class A, transformerless preamplifier circuitry eliminates crossover distortion for improved linearity across the full frequency range, while the precisely tuned cardioid pattern delivers off-axis rejection up to 37 dB at 180 degrees to keep room reflections and adjacent sources out of the mix. A switchable 15 dB attenuator extends headroom for high sound pressure levels, and a switchable low-frequency filter manages proximity effect and rumble. The studio package adds the included A32SM shock mount and a protective aluminum case, supporting reliable deployment in broadcast studio, house of worship, and auditorium applications.
