The Salamander FPSA/CS is a camera shelf for FPS display stands, positioning a conferencing camera or video bar at correct sightline height relative to the display. Camera height is what determines whether remote participants see faces or the tops of heads, which makes this a functional component of the video system rather than an accessory.
Product Description
Camera placement is the most commonly compromised element in a mobile video setup. A camera balanced on top of a display, or clamped to whatever surface is nearby, ends up at the wrong height and angle — and the far end spends the meeting looking up people's noses or down at the table. A dedicated shelf fixes the camera at the height the room design intended.
Mounting the camera to the stand also means it travels with the display, stays aligned between rooms, and does not need re-aiming every time the cart moves. For heavier video bars and specific device brackets, the FPS range also includes tech brackets sized for particular UC bars.
