A successful video conferencing deployment starts with correct display and camera placement, which is best determined onsite. This one-day onsite room survey sends a Poly engineer to evaluate room acoustics, sightlines, lighting, mounting surfaces, and network and power infrastructure. The engineer determines optimum placement for video conferencing system displays and cameras and documents findings to guide the installation. It is intended for integrators and IT teams planning conference room, boardroom, and huddle-space endpoint deployments where placement accuracy matters. Completing a survey before installation reduces rework, avoids sightline and coverage issues, and improves the end-user meeting experience.
