The MA-series platform delivers 500 cd/m2 brightness, SpectraView Engine color management, and Intel SDM expandability in a full metal chassis supporting portrait and landscape installation.
Product Description
The MA491 uses a 49-inch U-IPS edge-lit WCG panel at 3840x2160 resolution with 0.28mm pixel pitch (89 ppi) and 500 cd/m2 brightness. Local dimming delivers 8000:1 contrast ratio, and 178-degree viewing angles provide consistent image quality across wide seating arrangements. SpectraView Engine enables hardware-level color calibration with gamma adjustment, color space emulation, and HDR support. The open Intel SDM slot (Small and Large) accepts optional compute modules including the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 for NEC MediaPlayer integration. HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 daisy-chain loopout support multi-display configurations, and failover input switching ensures display continuity. RS-232C and LAN control with NaViSet Administrator 2 support remote management of networked display installations.
