This lens is the longest-throw option for the PX2201UL platform, enabling projection from extreme distances in large auditoriums, rear projection booths, stadiums, and venues where the projector cannot be positioned close to the screen. Motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift allow complete remote optical adjustment after installation.
Product Description
The NP49ZL is engineered for high-brightness large-venue installations where the NP-PX2201UL must cover a large screen from a rear booth or balcony position. At 4.0-7.0:1, the projector can be placed approximately 28.8 to 50.4 feet from a 100-inch-wide screen—covering even the deepest projection booth configurations in large commercial venues. The 1.75x zoom ratio provides meaningful range adjustment without requiring physical relocation of the projector during commissioning or operation.
The NP49ZL is sold separately from the NP-PX2201UL projector body. The projector is also available bundled with this lens as the NP-PX2201UL-48ZL configuration.
