The MPS-488X is the eight-channel member of Meyer Sound's MPS IntelligentDC power supply family, providing centralized 48 V DC power and balanced audio distribution for self-powered loudspeaker systems. Each of its eight outputs delivers DC power and balanced audio to a loudspeaker over a single composite cable, with intelligent circuit protection guarding each channel against surges and shorts. Eight male 3-pin Phoenix audio inputs feed the eight 5-pin Phoenix outputs, and seven link switches allow flexible signal sharing across channels. The front panel provides eight blue LEDs indicating output voltage presence and eight green LEDs indicating load current.
