The Listen Technologies LPT-A110 is a 6.6 ft (2.0 m) USB computer interface cable that connects a computer as an audio source to Listen equipment. Source interfacing is where most commissioning delays come from: the audio exists, the equipment is installed, and the connector on the wall does not match the connector on the device. Holding the right interface cable removes that from the schedule.
Product Description
Assistive listening equipment sits at the end of an audio chain that was designed by someone else, often years earlier. The source might be a mixer, a DSP, a laptop or a media player, each with its own connector convention.
This cable covers one of those cases directly. Using a purpose-made interface rather than a chain of adaptors reduces both the failure points and the chance of an unbalanced connection introducing hum into the assistive listening feed.
Confirm the connector arrangement at both ends against the installed equipment before ordering, since Listen products use several input conventions across the receiver, transmitter and transceiver ranges.
