The DL-UHDILC is designed for small conference rooms, huddle rooms, and boardrooms where automating display control without a full control system is a practical and cost-effective approach. The unit sits in-line between an HDMI source and display, continuously monitoring the HDMI signal. When a source signal is detected — such as a laptop connecting to the room — the controller executes a pre-loaded RS-232 command or CEC command to power on the display and triggers the first relay output to lower a projector screen or window shade. When the signal is removed after a configurable timeout period, the unit sends the corresponding off command and triggers the second relay to raise the screen or shade.

The DL-UHDILC passes HDMI and HDMI 2.0 signals up to 18 Gbps, supporting 4K60 4:4:4 resolution with HDCP 2.2 copy protection, making it compatible with current-generation source devices and commercial displays.
