The Gator GR-6S is a 6U rack case built for portable commercial AV racks where a shallow 14.25" depth keeps the footprint compact. This molded PE rack case houses six rack units of processors, power conditioners, and interface gear behind threaded front and rear rack rails. It targets integrators and rental techs who need a lightweight rack-mount enclosure that protects gear in transit. The gasketed lid and twist-latch closure make it a practical short-depth rack case for field deployment.
Product Description
The GR-6S is constructed from lightweight polyethylene that resists impact and abrasion across repeated load-ins. Its 14.25" rackable depth suits half-rack and short-chassis equipment that does not require a full 19" deep rack case. Threaded, field-replaceable 7mm zinc-plated steel rack rails are fitted front and rear, so equipment can be supported at both ends for transport stability. Heavy-duty twist latches secure the gasketed lid, and recessed side handles keep the carry profile tight against the shell. The case carries an ATA rating for transit protection.
