Product Description

The EMI314-10 mounts in the 0U vertical rail space of a standard equipment rack, keeping all 1U/2U rack space available for servers, switches, and AV gear. Power comes in through an L21-30P three-phase plug on a 10 ft. cord, then distributes across 42 IEC C13 outlets — a configuration well suited for racks loaded with multiple low-draw devices such as switches, servers, KVMs, and AV control processors. Built-in input metering reports real-time load data via an Ethernet network interface and RS-232 serial connection, giving IT and facilities staff a way to monitor circuit-level power consumption and plan capacity before adding new equipment to a rack. Because this is a metered-input (not outlet-metered or switched) PDU, it reports overall PDU draw rather than per-outlet data — an appropriate tradeoff for racks where the priority is knowing total load rather than controlling or measuring individual devices.
