The Crestron UCA-PWE-UC-2/UC-P8/P10 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) power source for optional use with Crestron UC-2, UC-P8, and UC-P10 series devices in environments where a PoE infrastructure is not available. It delivers up to 500 mA at 48VDC nominal over a standard RJ-45 Ethernet connection. The surface-mount injector can be located up to 100 meters (328 feet) from the device. A blue power LED provides at-a-glance confirmation that power is available.
Product Description
The UCA-PWE-UC-2/UC-P8/P10 lets integrators deploy Crestron UC-2, UC-P8, and UC-P10 series devices in spaces that lack PoE-capable network switches. The injector accepts 100-240VAC input through an IEC 60320 C6 socket and supplies PoE to a single device over the LAN PoE RJ-45 port, while a separate LAN RJ-45 port supports 10BaseT/100BaseTX/1000BaseTX Ethernet pass-through. Only one PoE-enabled device at a time can be powered by the unit. The compact black plastic housing is designed for surface mounting and can be placed at any convenient location within 100 meters of the device, providing flexibility in cable routing.
