The Crestron MPC4-201-B is a 4-Series Media Presentation Controller that combines a 4-Series control processor and a wall-mounted control panel in a single PoE-powered device. Product Description

Unlike a button panel, the MPC4-201-B integrates a Crestron 4-Series control processor with a real-time, preemptive multithreaded kernel that supports up to 10 simultaneously running programs and a native .AV Framework software program. This means it can directly control Crestron AV switchers, audio processors, and other IP-controllable equipment over the building network without a separate processor. Its six projected capacitive buttons can each be labeled with one of 25 prelabeled icon chips, hidden with a blackout chip, or custom laser-etched using optional engravable chips. Each button is individually backlit, white when inactive and blue when active, and four additional buttons plus a blue LED multisegment gauge handle volume, mute, and power. A built-in 940 nm laser proximity sensor wakes the panel within an adjustable 8 to 35 in. range, and autobrightness adjusts backlighting across three levels. A Gigabit Ethernet LAN port provides connectivity and PoE power, with FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption, 802.1X, Active Directory authentication, SNMP, BACnet/IP, and HTTPS web setup. The controller supports the XiO Cloud service for remote provisioning and management. It mounts flush in a wall or lectern, or on a tabletop using an optional kit.
