Product Overview
The Crestron HD-TXA-4KZ-101 is a DM Lite 4K60 4:4:4 transmitter that extends HDMI plus analog audio over a single CATx cable to a compatible receiver or DMPS Lite switcher. It supports 4K60 with full 4:4:4 color sampling, HDR formats, and HDCP 2.3, with an analog stereo input that can be embedded into the outgoing signal. The transmitter is built for point-to-point AV distribution where a separate audio source must accompany the HDMI feed. It is part of the Crestron DM Lite 4K60 4:4:4 endpoint family.
Product Description
The HD-TXA-4KZ-101 takes an HDMI input and converts it to the DM Lite format for transmission over a CAT5e or higher twisted pair cable. For 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals, distances up to 230 ft (70 m) are supported; UHD and 4K signals are supported up to 130 ft (40 m). Its balanced/unbalanced stereo analog audio input can be embedded with the HDMI video, and an audio selection push button switches between analog and HDMI audio when paired with a DM Lite 4K60 4:4:4 receiver or DMPS Lite HD-PS series switcher. Analog audio is digitized at 24-bit 48 kHz with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision metadata pass through along with CEC and EDID, and the HDMI input is DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort interface compatible with the appropriate adapter. When paired with a DMPS Lite switcher, the transmitter can be configured and controlled through the switcher web interface with control system and .AV Framework support. For the complete pairing, power, and form-factor details, refer to the Crestron data sheet.
